I am a wife and a mom. I am a travel agent. But let me start at the beginning…
My first cruise was in 1980. I was 11 years old. This was the time when cruising for leisure was just beginning to take off. Carnival Cruise Line had one of the largest passenger cruise ships on the seas. I will never forget that trip. I decided that week that I was going to work on a cruise ship.
Little did I know at the time, 15 years later I would be stepping onto another cruise ship, with 40 of our closest family and friends, to marry the love of my life. Since this voyage, my husband and I have been on many cruises together. We enjoyed our first cruise as a family, with our 2 young daughters (then 2 and 5), in 2009.
Although I have never worked on a cruise ship like my 11 year old self predicted, travel has continued to be a passion of mine throughout my life. We love cruising the Caribbean, Hawaii and of course, being a family, Disney is at the top of the list too. Living in Texas, Mexico all-inclusives are also a favorite vacation of our family. Short flights and a great “bang for your buck” with the beautiful all-inclusive resorts and spas with children’s programs.
In the 12 years prior to our 2 little bundles’ arrival, my career in Marketing allowed me to work with the Bermuda Department of Tourism , as well as the chance to play a developmental role in the original destination wedding program with the Grenada (Spice Island) Dept. of Tourism. (I LOVE planning destination weddings, which started with our own in 1995, even with the limited options that were available back then…but that’s another blog post!)
Cruise Therapy is the kind of therapy you need to forget the stress of everyday life. It will bring you back to your happy place.
Cruise Therapy can be family, couple or girlfriend bonding time. It can be a family reunion, the beginning of a marriage, an anniversary or birthday celebration.
How you spend your Cruise Therapy is up to you.
It’s YOUR prescription for fun.
Helping you plan YOUR dream vacation is MY dream career.
If you are new to cruising, I’d be thrilled to be the one to “show you around.”
If you are ready to hit an all-inclusive in Mexico or the Caribbean, I’m your gal.
I participate in many hours of specialty travel and cruise line industry training each year, so I can provide you with the best possible service, prices, upgrades and extras. I will help you plan a fabulous vacation for your family, while staying within your budget.
If you are considering a Disney vacation for your family, I am also a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge. I have attained a special knowledge of all Disney Destinations and earned my Disney Specialist designation.
Please allow me the opportunity to price your trip for you. We are a small business and believe in extending a personal touch to each client. This is not always the case with some of the “big box” cruise agencies.
You are not a number to me. I truly care about your trip. I would love the opportunity to prove it to you.
If you would like some help with your next family vacation please email me at info@CruiseTherapyTravel.com or fill out a Vacation Request Form for a FREE, no obligation quote and I will contact you shortly.
