Caribbean Update: Here is latest update I received on some of the islands in the Caribbean from Celebrity Cruise Line.
St. Bart’s – St. Barts has recovered well & all tours are operational.
St. Maarten – Dutch side has recovered well, the French side not so much. Our tour program remains focused on the Dutch side. Out of 29 tours in the St. Maarten Celebrity program, 19 are operational. Sites visited by independent guests such as the Boardwalk & Front street are up & running with shops & restaurants at an approximate 70% operation. Power & water have been restored on the island. Cruise lines have returned and multiple ship days are frequent.
St. Thomas – All is going well. Some of the St. John tours have been added back on. Out of the 30 tours in the Celebrity St. Thomas program, 23 are operational. Most of the shops & restaurants are open. Power & water have almost been fully restored on the island. Cruise lines have returned and multiple ship days are frequent.
San Juan – Power has almost been fully restored to the San Juan area. Tour program is primarily focused on the Old San Juan area. Out of the 38 tours in the Celebrity program, 26 are operational. Many of the shops & restaurants are open. Cruise lines have returned and multiple ship days are frequent.
Dominica – Island has begun the rebuilding process. Power and water have been restored to the capital, however, it’s a work in progress for the remainder of the island. No further information on tour venues at this time.
Tortola – Island has begun the rebuilding process. Power & water are still being restored. No further information on tour venues at this time.
