Carnival Liberty is now sailing 2 to 5 night Bahamas itineraries sailing from Port Canaveral, FL.
A Carnival cruise isn’t an ordinary vacation. It’s something you won’t soon forget! You’ll find amazing food, exciting nightlife and day life too, spectacular entertainment, comfy accommodations, 24-hour room service, award-winning youth programs and even places to relax if you want to do nothing at all. All of this is on the way to Bahamian cruise ports to explore a new land!
Come with me on a little tour of the ship from my recent visit onboard…
The Garden Atrium is the beautiful entry onto the ship and site of many weddings and special occasion photo opportunities. I was lucky enough to catch a wedding photo shoot on my visit.
Heading up to the pool decks, you’ll find a water slide and main pool on decks 9 and 10, along with 2 Jacuzzis. This is the pool deck with the hub bub of activity during the sea days. You’ll hear upbeat music, dancing and fun activities and games around the pool. This deck is also the home of two great bars: one rum-slinging, one tequila-wielding… both dueling for your heart – RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar.
Head to the aft (back) of the ship and you’ll find a quieter pool with 2 more Jacuzzis for a more relaxing and chill zone.
Feeling hungry? This is definitely not a problem on Carnival Liberty! All dining venues offer a vast variety of fresh and tasty choices.
The main dining room offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in a “sit-down” dining fashion, while the Lido Buffet Restaurant, Mongolian Wok and guest favorites like Guys Burger Joint (Guy Fieri’s creation) and Blue Iguana Cantina offer more of a casual vibe. And don’t forget about the unlimited pizza, salad, and ice cream 24/7. The best part? It’s all included in your cruise fare! Even room service!
Carnival Cruise Lines has an award-winning youth program with programs for kids ages 2- 17 years old. At Camp Ocean, they’ll start by splitting up into three different age groups: 2 to 5 years, 6 to 8 years, and 9 to 11 years. The counselors, each with education or childcare experience, are there to make sure everyone in these small groups has an amazing time. There is all kinds of fun-filled age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, dancing, movies, toy-time and video gaming! Children and adults of all ages will love the Seuss at Sea Activities that take throughout the cruise, including the Green Eggs and Ham character breakfast and Seuss-a-Palooza parade.
Circle “C” and Club O2 make sure to include youth of all ages for 12-14 years and 15-17 years old. Circle C is where young teens ages 12 to 14 go to hang out, meet new friends, and enjoy some pretty awesome activities like dance parties, games, outdoor movies and more, in the special Circle “C” area or around the ship. And ages 15-17 have Club O2.
When evening rolls around that’s when the nightlife begins with spectacular stage shows in the main theatre, a variety of live performances in lounges around the ship and comedy at George Lopez’s Punchliners Comdy Club. Or Get hands-on with a game, a drink… and high-fives galore! SKYBOX Sports Bar gets you right onto the 50-yard line of onboard sports action. Grab a drink or order some snacks — they’re great while kicking back and watching your favorite teams on one of the big screens, or just dropping by to check out real-time scores and headlines on the panoramic ticker.
